This website is a place to share some of the images that I have taken over the years and hopefully in the future. I have a passion for photography and I am always striving to capture an exceptional image whenever I have a camera in my hand. None of my photography is shot with the intention of selling. As a enthusiastic amateur-traveler, my goal is to just take great images and hone my understanding of photography and the capture of light. These images represent some of the times, places, and objects that inspired me to capture them at that moment. The Domain

If you happen to wonder where the name Darkuncle came from, it's as simple as this. Many years back when you could actually get a .com that you wanted, I saw the word Darkuncle someplace and thought it was an amusing name. I went ahead and registered it with no real agenda at the time. So when I decide to put some of my images on the web, I married this domain to my photography.      more info
